Northern Ireland want to “inspire the next generation” after they reached the European Championships for the first time, says Forfar Farmington goalkeeper Lauren Perry.

And Perry says her side confounded everyone to defeat Ukraine in the play-offs and make next summer’s finals in England.

St Cuthbert Wanderers continued their good form with a dominating performance in a 2-0 win over 10-man Wigtown & Bladnoch on Saturday.

Goals in either half from Ross Hunter and Trialist proved the difference as Jordan Williamson’s side notched their second victory in a week following last weekend’s 3-0 win over Lochar Thistle.
